I arrived in Denver in June of 2010 ready for a wonderful conference in a city I had come to quite enjoy. During my time at ISTE, I had the pleasure of meeting the fine folks from InFocus. They were at ISTE giving demonstrations of a new product, the interactive projector. They asked for my prima facie feedback and I was happy to oblige.

The more we talked, the more fun we had. Over the several days of the conference I came to quite enjoy hanging out in the InFocus room chatting with the folks there. In the weeks that followed the conference, we continued to talk. In August of 2010 I signed a consulting agreement with InFocus.

I will be helping them in a few areas. This list is far from exhaustive, but I’ll be helping them with:

• Curriculum design for the new interactive projector
• Feedback about every day use of the projector
• Social media outreach
• Development of a program to identify early adopters

I am thrilled to be working with InFocus. They have proven themselves to be willing to listen to feedback from a classroom teacher (me and others) and this is one reason InFocus is a leader in classroom projector technologies.
