Zao Life
Client: Dr. Sam Rubinson of Zao Life, Inc.
When I first met Dr. Sam Rubinson, he was in need of a way to market his new ministry called Zao Life. Dr. Sam is an outdoors guy. Last summer, he and his family spent time traveling the country experiencing our country’s national parks. They loaded up their Chevy Suburban, attached a trailer, and Dr. Sam and his wife and four children went traveling.
They hiked, they swam, they laughed, and they didn’t worry about whether the new ministry had a good website. You see, just before they departed, we launched their new web presence.
When Dr. Sam approached me about a new website, I sat down with him and helped him determine what he needed. He had bad experiences in the past, with volunteers and friends building websites that they did not maintain. Sam was ready for something a bit more professional.
After learning his needs, I set off to build him a website that he could add content himself. Above all, Sam wanted to be empowered.
With a needs analysis in hand, I set to building him a site. I chose the WordPress platform since it is user-friendly and there are so many wonderful plugins. Several weeks later, after mockups approved by Dr. Sam, his new website went live.
Over the course of the next few weeks, I spent time with Sam teaching him how to update content, add pictures, and keep his site fresh. Is he happy? Here is what Dr. Sam had to say…
I was introduced to Chris Craft when I was looking for someone to create a web page for my new business Zao Life, Inc. I was at a total lost with no idea even where to start when it came to a web design. Chris was able to ask the right questions in order to guide me into knowing what should be on the site along with educating me in the different types of web sites available. I am totally satisfied with the end results and have had many people comment about my web page and how intuitive it is. It has increased my business and it gives me great joy to direct people to the site knowing that they will find a professional site giving them the information they need. We are now talking about migrating my company to Google Apps to increase our productivity and ease of communication! Thanks again Chris.
